I saw I had the common burn out problems that you read about but recently I saw that I had a lot of stress in my work because I didn’t understand a lot of the newer technology. So I took this course and found out that “you don’t know what you don’t know” until you take a course like this. There were a lot of gaps in my training and this course filled in many of those gaps and I plan to take some of the advanced courses as well. I subscribed to Appliantology when I was working but I never knew all the resources available until I took this course and watched the videos on Appliantology 101. It turns out that this old dog can learn new tricks. I really enjoyed the content of the course along with the humor, slang talk and work experience of the writers of this course. There were concepts that were difficult for me in the past that I was able to learn because of the excellent teaching ability of the instructors. My confidence level is greatly increased and I plan to start up a one man business this fall and work on my continuing education in a more consistent manner. I am excited about going back to work and this course has a lot to do with that. It was well worth the money and I would encourage anyone who is puzzled at times with newer technology to take this course and apply themselves to learning. Read Moreery consistent and prompt in their responses to student inquiries. Responses have generally included a text explanation from the instructor along with links to relevant videos or blogs. I was not anticipating spending as much time completing the course as I ended up spending. To me, this just means I got a better value for my money than if it were a shorter course. I found the material to not be easy but not impossible either (Although there might have been 2 or 3 times throughout the course where I questioned my ability to fulfill the course requirements. The answer to that question for me was always yes though.) The course material includes text, illustrations, graphs, charts, videos from the instructor as well as videos from guest presenters. This is nice to hear the information from a different angle or with a slightly different spin on it. I’ve participated in plenty of other trainings where the instructor would actually give incorrect information at points and so would call into question the validity of everything else being taught. I never got this impression once during my training here though. In fact, I chose Master Samurai Academy after hearing the difference between their instructional videos on YouTube and the videos of other instructors. The other guys never even had a chance. If you’re not willing to study, take notes, and work hard though I would recommend that you wait until that changes before taking a course because this class is in no way a “gimmie “.”
